WENDEFÖRDERUNGFinancial support for inclusive sailing projects

Putting inclusion through sailing into practice often requires financial resources in addition to advice and help. Specialized inclusion sailing coaches or volunteers need an expense allowance. Jetties or clubhouses need to be converted to make them barrier-free. Boats have to be adapted to special needs or the purchase of boats that are particularly suitable for disadvantaged people is required. Or a charitable institution wants to enable socially disadvantaged children to sail in a sailing school, but does not have enough funds for it. The needs are diverse and resources are often limited. Even public funding or private donors may not be able to cover the entire funding gap. We are happy to help here.

A boy is sitting in a wheelchair. Someone holds out a hand to him. He laughs.

The foundation currently only support projects:

  • of charitable associations / clubs / organisations
  • that provide benefit to disadvantaged people
  • that relate to inclusive sailing activities
  • that take place in Germany.
