Measures to ensure the website’s accessibility 

Our website is developed and maintained in accordance with the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). 

In addition to the technical implementation, this includes various measures: 

• Our sitemap offers an alternative way to navigate the site. You can find it in the footer of the website or via this link: Sitemap 
• Use of HTML tags and a clear page structure
• Simple and clear design
• Use of alternative text for images
• External links open in a new window
• Contrast ratios comply with the WCAG 2.2 guidelines. 

Known limitations

Sign language and plain language we offer at the moment only in german. It is planned to implement both also in english language.

At present, some PDF files and linked press articles are not yet fully accessible. We endeavour to make any new content as accessible as possible.
