Examples
Of course, you can also designate your financial contribution for a specific purpose. For example, would you like to help fund the accessible dock facilities at your sailing club, is safety equipment a particular priority for you, or would you like to help provide the children with a hot meal on a sailing day? We’d be happy to advise you on the specific purpose of your donation.
Here are a few examples of how your donation will be used:
- For €12, we can provide a hot meal and a drink for one child at our sailing event.
- With €20, we can pay for one hour of an instructor’s fee.
- With €50, we can purchase a non-flooding life jacket. These are mandatory for all participants on the water.
- With €1,500, we can equip inclusive boats with a set of new sails.
- For €2,000, our club boats - including the inclusive ones - can receive a biocide-free underwater coating, allowing them to remain in the water.
- With €4,000, we can provide transportation for a class of 12 students to attend sailing training for one season.

Donation Receipt
Since the TURNING POINT Foundation is a nonprofit organization, monetary donations are fully tax-deductible. For donations up to €300, a bank statement is sufficient for the tax office. For donations of €300 or more, we issue a donation receipt; upon request, we are also happy to provide one for smaller amounts. To issue the donation receipt, we need your full name and mailing address.
We guarantee that your donation will be invested directly in inclusive sailing activities. Your support benefits young people with physical or intellectual disabilities or those facing social disadvantages. The foundation’s administrative and operational costs are funded independently of donations.
