For this Berlin native living in Kiel, the topic of inclusion has been a part of his life since childhood, thanks to his parents and his elementary school. Inspired by his father’s passion for sailing, he took up the sport at age 12 and, a few years later, landed a coaching job by chance. Since then, his passion for sailing and teaching has never left him. After stints at a facility for children and adolescents with behavioral challenges and at the University of Kiel’s sailing center, he is excited to combine two major parts of his life by leading the academy.
