The founder, who comes from a family of sailors in Berlin, grew up on the Baltic Sea. Sailing has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember and has led him to many personal turning points. Professionally, he enjoyed great success as an entrepreneur in the food manufacturing industry, with company headquarters in the Rhine-Neckar region and Chicago, Illinois. Today, the founder of the TURNING POINT Foundation lives in Heidelberg and is dedicated to promoting social inclusion through sailing.
