Betty PabstInclusion Coach | Academy | Public Relations

Betty Pabst learned to sail as a child in Stralsund. As a licensed coach, she works with an inclusive sailing team and is a member of the Leipzig Sailing Club. Her two sons also sail with the club and help out at inclusive sailing events.

For many years, she worked as a photographer in public relations for NGOs, such as the Saxony Anti-Discrimination Office. Now, in addition to her work for TPS, she works as a psychological counselor (Gestalt therapy, DVG) with additional training in trauma therapy. She is actively involved in providing psychological support for civilian maritime rescue operations. Through her various fields of work, Betty combines expertise in psychotherapy, education, and sailing.

“I love watching people steer a boat for the first time. Through this experience, they realize that they themselves are at the helm of their own lives. Sailing builds self-confidence and strengthens our courage to tackle challenges. The experience on the water engages all the senses and makes us more receptive to the beauty of life.”
